AN INTERVIEW WITH THE NAPS TREASURER

PRESSMAN: Can you introduce yourself please?

TREASURER: I'm Akinola Racheal Akintomiwa, NAPS UI's treasurer.

PRESSMAN: For those who may not be familiar with your role, can you please explain your responsibility as a treasurer?

TREASURER: I'm responsible for banking all the associations money, I'm responsible for disbursing all approved budgets to the appropriate channels and I'd act in place of the financial secretary when they're not available

PRESSMAN: Based on what was written in your manifesto, do you think you have implemented all your plans for NAPsites?

TREASURER: No I don't, the main point in my manifesto was to create an online platform for payment. That wasn't implemented because after serious deliberation, we (NAPSUI executives) decided it would be best to open an account with a physical bank (Fidelity) which was pioneered by the President and I.

PRESSMAN: Based on your last interview with PsychLens, you said an official bank account had not been opened for NAPSites, has an official account been opened now?

TREASURER: I said an account has been opened but it wasn't functional then, it is functioning now.

PRESSMAN: You've been in the position of NAPS treasurer for some months now. What challenges do you think you face?

TREASURER: NAPsites are quite fun and easy to work with they've been making my time in office pretty seamless and stress-free and I've been getting a great deal of help from my fellow members of the executive team. So I'd say none

PRESSMAN: So, what goal do you aim to achieve by the end of this semester as a treasurer?

TREASURER: Please can you clarify your question? I don't quite understand

PRESSMAN: I mean, by the end of this session, what do you want to proudly say that you've achieved as NAPS treasurer?

TREASURER: At the end of my time in office, I would want to be able to proudly say that I have properly and proactively carried out the entirety of my duties as the NAPS treasurer as stipulated in the constitution.
