AN INTERVIEW WITH THE PRO of NAPS UI; MR. TOLUWANI OJO

PRESSMAN: Good evening, Mr. Toluwani. Thank you for agreeing to this interview. My name is Oluwadarasimi, I’m a pressman from PSYCHLENS Press, and I will be interviewing you today. Could you please introduce yourself?

MR. TOLUWANI: My name is Ojo Toluwani, I'm a 300-level student of the Department of Psychology and the Public Relations Officer of NAPS, UI.

PRESSMAN: Could you please give us an overview of what your job is as the PRO of NAPS UI?

MR. TOLUWANI: My job is generally related to disseminating information both within the association and from the association to other places as the case requires, I also handle the Public Image and publicity of the association.

PRESSMAN: In your interview vying for the post of the office you now hold, you mentioned that NAPSites should expect something new. So, what are some notable changes or improvements you have introduced to the session?

MR. TOLUWANI: The session is just beginning so most of my plans can't start just yet but in the meantime, I've begun recruiting NAPSites to serve in the publicity group.

PRESSMAN: Can you tell us about any special projects or initiatives you've launched or plan on launching to enhance student engagement?

MR. TOLUWANI: I plan to introduce a lot of video content featuring NAPSites on our social media pages, the content will range from anywhere between Campus trivia to videos like "What's your opinion"?

I aim to create NAPSite-centered content.

PRESSMAN: How do you plan on making yourself accessible and approachable to students who may need your guidance in one area or the other?

MR. TOLUWANI: I am active in their Freshers group and have met some personally, some of them have volunteered to join the publicity group. So in a sense, I'm already accessible. For anyone who needs help, I'm always available.

PRESSMAN: How do you foresee the session, and what goals do you hope to achieve during your tenure?

MR. TOLUWANI: Well, judging from the plans that my fellow executives have, the session should be a very eventful one and I hope to take our vibrancy to the social media space, by the end of my tenure, I hope to look at the social media pages and see something that represents us as an association.

PRESSMAN: As the new session begins, what message or advice would you like to share with the freshers? And to the stallites, any word of assurance?

MR. TOLUWANI: To the freshers, this is a really fun department and you will enjoy yourself but please don't get carried away. To the stallites, Don't give up, just keep going.
