Czech-Nigerian choreographer, Yemi Adeyemi Dele, has been selected as a member of the eight man crew assembled by Yuzaku Maizawa, to orbit the moon in 2023.

In 2018, Japanese billionaire, Yuzaku Aizawa announced that he would fund the trip for eight creatives would fly to the Earth's orbit with him on a 6-day flight around the moon. Millions of candidates across 246 countries applied and only eight were selected. This would be the first civilian lunar orbital mission. The mission is operated by Space X's latest shuttle.

Yemi Adeyemi Dele, most popularly known as YemiAD, is a dancer, choreographer and performer whose most famous and we'll received work was done with U.S Hip Hop star Kanye West. Adeyemi, who is now 41, was a boen to a Czech mother and a Nigerian mother. His father was a student from Prague and he grew up with his mother and went on to attend the institute of performance art.
