BREAKING NEWS: INEC RELEASES A DATE FOR NAPS ELECTION

While every NAPSITES anticipates NAPS, UI election day, INEC releases an official statement on the 5th of November, 2021 stating the official dates and time of the electoral events.

The aspiring candidates must know that the sales and collection of nomination forms end on Sunday, 7th 2021. Following this, the Screening of Applicants is to take place on the 8th of November, 2021. This ensures that proper assessments are carried out on the candidates to see that they are well qualified. For the sake of aspirants writing an exam on the morning of this day, the screening will be in batches, and the first batch has been set for 9 am, while the second is at 2 pm.

The press night will be on the 10th of November, 2021. This allows the pressmen to ask questions from the aspirants. These aspirants will be scored based on some criteria. The manifesto night which is on the 11th of November, 2021 follows. This is a chance for aspirants to defend their manifesto in front of all Napsites. NAPS election is on the 13th of November, 2021. This is an avenue where NAPSite will choose the candidate of their choice.

INEC went ahead to inform interested NAPSITES that the executive post of the financial Secretary is still vacant and it is very important to note that the right to vote is solely restricted to financially committed NAPSITES.
