He Scored A Beautiful Goal & Got A Red Card.

Jegede Oluwatosin

30-year-old Vincent Aboubakar connected with a pass from Jerome Mbekeli in the 92nd minute to break the deadlock between the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Seleção Canarinho (The Canary Squad) of Brazil on the 2nd of December 2022 at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.

The Cameroonian forward was so excited that he removed his shirt in celebration, earning himself a second yellow card after the first one he got for aggressively tackling Brazil's Martinelli earlier in the game. The referee was impressed with the goal and dapped up Aboubakar before booking him.

Aboubakar's last-minute header earned Cameroon an unexpected and memorable win over five-time world champions Brazil. Even though the win did nothing for their standing in the World Cup, Aboubakar's goal cemented Cameroon's place in football history as the first African country to beat Brazil in the world cup competition.
