IF YOU MISSED THE NAPS WEEK DAY 2; PSYCHOLYMPICS

The Psycholympics, which was an inter-level competition, occurred in two phases. The first phase, a track field event 100m, 200m, 400m, 4×100m relay, and long jump, was conducted at Awo stadium around 10:00 am. The participants were from various levels in the department; Western, Sparrow, Ore Ofe from 100l, Adebayo from 200l, Bambam from 300l, Elected, and Tunmise from 400l. The emerging winner for the 100m was Ayinde Samuel from 100l, 200m was Azeez from 100l, 400m was Akinwande Samuel from 100l, long jump was Elected from 400l for the male event. The 100l emerge as the winner of the relay for the male event. Adebayo Mercy Eniola won the 100m, 200m, and long jump, and her team also won the relay for the female events. The students that won each event were given a medal.
The second phase of the Sports activities was tagged Novelty match, which started at around 3 pm on the SUB field; the inter-level competition strategy was also employed here. In the Football match, the 100l and 200l were merged against the 300l and 400l, both for the female and the male. The team 100l and 200l won the match over 300l and 400l 2:0 by Mayorkun from 100l for the male match. For the female match, their opponents were not available, so the match was canceled. The available team was given the medal, and the team available was Adebayo Mercy Eniola which left her with five medals.
There was overall the best athlete with five medals, Adebayo Mercy Eniola from 400l. This brings PSYCHOLYMPICS 2.0 to an end.
