Meet Agboluaje Rasheed, An Aspirant Vying For The Post Of Naps, Ui Assistant General Secretary

In this series of Interviews, PsychLens thought it would be beneficial for NAPSites to have an early meeting with the various aspirants for Executive Offices in the Upcoming Elections.

It's essentially a collection of each of their fundamental characteristics, including their core motives and overall perceptions of the Association's leadership.

Here's, let's meet Agboluaje Rasheed, an aspirant vying for the post of NAPS, UI Assistant General Secretary.

Pressman: Good evening bro, my name is Jegede Oluwatosin from Psychlens. Can you please introduce yourself?

Mr. Rasheed: My name is Agboluaje Rasheed, a 100-level student of psychology department, who is vying for the post NAPS UI AGS.

Pressman: How would you describe yourself, your basic beliefs in life, your source of motivation and so on?

Mr. Rasheed: I'm a kind that loves equality, fairness, transparency, honesty. I believe in good leadership. I believe in togetherness for goal attainment. I'm being motivated when I see good doings in the society.

Pressman: Nice, so how would you qualify good leadership or “good doings”?

Mr. Rasheed: Good leadership is the one which involves carrying followers along in decision making process.

Pressman: Hmmmm. Okay. What is your motivation for aspiring towards the AGS position?

Mr. Rasheed: I aspire AGS position because I want to contribute to the betterment of NAPS UI.

Pressman: How do you envision that happening, considering the particular post you're running for.

Mr. Rasheed: I believe that having good plans will contribute to the betterment of NAPS UI. I envisage contributing to the betterment by ensuring basic sanitation, enlightenment on hygiene and sanitation and performing my constitutional duties.

Pressman: So, Mr. Rasheed, you're saying that a better NAPSUI is one with better sanitation.

Mr. Rasheed: Yes!

Pressman: Other than sanitation, what other unique thing will you be bringing to the table for NAPSITES?

Mr. Rasheed: Working together with Gen. Sec. to ensure safe keeping of document.

Pressman: Okay... But isn't that already part of your constitutional responsibilities?

Mr. Rasheed: What I meant by this is electronic documentation (e- documentation).

Pressman: Oh nice! So, what's the central theme of your manifesto?

Mr. Rasheed: Alliance.

Pressman: Alliance with who or what?

Mr. Rasheed: I'm planning to form alliance with FATSSSA AGS for basic sanitation and with Gen. Sec. for safe keeping of document.

Mr. Rasheed: In the same vein, I'll ally with PSYCHLENS to publicize articles on sanitation and hygiene.
