Here's, let's meet Elebute Noami Desireoluwa, an aspirant vying for the post of NAPS, UI Treasurer

Good afternoon, Miss. Elebute. May I have your full name?
My name is Elebute Desireoluwa Naomi
Please describe yourself.
I’ll start with my spiritual life. I’m a very god-fearing person. I like to see myself doing things of the lord and apart from that I find myself doing things I love doing, like singing, dancing and saving. Because saving has always been part of me since I was growing up. Since secondary school, that’s how far back I ca\n remember and not just for myself, but also for my friends. I like to mix with people. I could be a very calm person in an environment I’m used to and at the same time be jovial with my friends. I think that’s all there is to know about me.
What are your beliefs?
One of them would be being the best and doing the best in whatever you find yourself doing, or what you can do. Do the best for things you can do. Knowing you are capable of doing anything, capable of handling anything but not necessarily everything because it might not be okay if you do everything but if you can find something you love to do or you’re inspired to do, I believe that’s okay for a person.
What motivates you?
Passion. If I’m passionate about something, it drives me to do that thing and so that passion brings about me wanting to be the best I can. Let me out it that way. Passion and God. God motivates me. Without God, I wouldn’t be present in his light. They’re a lot of things that I would have given up on. His love and his presence in my life. There are a lot of things I would have given up on.
Why are you interested in running for this office?
It’s not just a reason that makes me interested in running for this particular post. I have a few reasons. First, there’ s always a starting point to things in life, apart from church and being an executive in the church, I have not actually come out to show people what I am capable of doing apart from church. So, it’s like coming out of my hidden space and showing people what I am capable of doing.
Second of all, I like to manage and not just money. They are a lot of things I’ve managed, not just for myself but for other people especially my mum. I like to keep things and I’m very disciplined when it comes to keeping money and saving money. I know I’m the right person for this post because the quality I have in saving money and the discipline and the right behavior, discipline and self-control is there so like I know that I’m capable of keeping NAPS finance safe.
Those are my two reasons.
What unique thing do you have to contribute to the office?
I believe I can contribute to the association by giving innovative ideas that can promote and move the association forward alongside with my departmental dues and responsibilities.
What is the central theme of your manifesto?
Accountability.
Can you explain further?
Accountability is the greatest height of a leader. This simply means a leader who is going to serve would do anything and make sure he/she achieves and does his/her responsibilities in the right way. The knowledge and right behavior. I chose this because I am ready to be responsible to bring about effective management of NAPS finance,
Do you have anything to say to the general public?
Thank you very much for that question. With my experience in personal financing, I Elebute Desiree Naomi is certain and very very capable of handling NAPS money and I am ready to serve the association and the students with my effective and responsible way of management of NAPS money. And how can that happen? That is through the support of the students in order for me to enter. Thank you very much. I love you all and God bless.
Thank you for your time, ma’am. Have a wonderful day.
And you too.
