NAPS AND THE DEAN'S CUP

On the 5th of October, 2021 the annual faculty Dean's cups commenced. Athletes from NAPS are expected to compete in at least 4 of the competitions. They include; Football (male & female), Chess (male&female), Scrabble (male&female), and tentatively Volleyball (mixed). So far, both the male and female teams have only competed in the football competition. With the male team winning one game, losing another, and ending one in a draw, the female team won one game by forfeiture.

As far as we can tell the NAPS athletes haven't forfeited any game at all. It's also noteworthy that the male football team is the current defending champions and they will be facing the Geography team on Tuesday to keep their title. According to a correspondent on the sports committee by the name Adeyemi Adebayo, he said "Getting female footballers and board game players has been difficult". This has been a challenge they hope will be resolved.

So far so good NAPS has been doing a wonderful job in the Dean's cup and hopefully, it continues that way.
