NAPS WEEK, DAY 1: FIELD TRIP TO THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL AGRICULTURE

The field trip organized by the department on May 11th, 2023, was an exceptional experience. The students visited the Institute of International Tropical Agriculture's Human Resource Unit in Moniya, where they received a warm welcome despite a slight delay in the set-off time due to students' late arrival.

During the visit, the Head of the Unit shared her life story and how she found her way into Human Resource Management. The students also gained valuable insights into the critical functions performed by the Human Resource unit. The team was patient in answering the students' questions, and the tour around the building was informative.

What's more, the students were pleasantly surprised to receive refreshments, which was a thoughtful gesture considering the amount paid for the trip. The planning committee deserves kudos for organizing a perfect outing, and the administration was successful in educating the students on the importance of Human Resource Management.

Overall, the trip was a resounding success, and the students left with a better understanding of the vital role that Human Resource Management plays in organizations.
