PSYCHLENS PRESS HOLDS HANDOVER CEREMONY

The curtain was officially drawn on a new administration in Psychlens Press on Saturday, January 17, 2026, as the organisation held its handover ceremony virtually.

The programme commenced with the Press prayer and the rendition of the National Anthem.


Thereafter, the outgoing Editor-in-Chief, Miss Adeusi Victoria, delivered an appreciation address, in which she expressed gratitude to God and to members of Psychlens Press for their commitment and dedication in various capacities towards the progress and growth of the organisation. She further encouraged members to remain supportive, urging that all hands be on deck to ensure the success of the incoming administration.


This was immediately followed by the presentation of Certificates of Recognition, to be presented physically, at a later date. Adekunle Queen and Ojo Deborah emerged as Best Inductees of the Year, and Ajewole Faith as the Pressman of the Year.


The newly appointed executives for the new administration were formally presented.

Fawunmi Elizabeth as the Assistant General Secretary,

Alawode Victor as the Public Relations Officer, and Adesina James as the Financial Secretary,

Ojo Deborah as the Managing Editor, Adekunle Queen as the General Secretary. Onyiye Blessing was appointed Deputy Editor-in-Chief, and

Ajewole Faith presented as the Editor-in-Chief.


Following the oath-taking ceremony of the new executives, the meeting was brought to a close with the Press prayer and the rendition of the National Anthem.
