Procrastination is a problem that plagues many of us. It's easy to think of reasons why you can't start something right away, or you're putting off doing something because it seems like too much work. But the truth is that procrastination can get in your way and keep you from getting things done. Procrastination can make it hard to get things done, and can lead to stress and anxiety when you don't feel like you're making progress on your goals.
Procrastination is caused by two things: anxiety and guilt. When you feel anxiety or guilt about something, it can be really hard to get yourself to do it. You feel like you have a deadline, but you don't know how to get started.
There are a number of different ways you can approach avoiding procrastination, but the first step is recognizing that it's a problem for you in the first place!
Once you've identified and admitted that procrastination is something that happens to you, then it's time to start thinking about what causes this behavior. Some people have trouble getting started on a task because they don't know where to begin. Others get distracted easily by social media or other websites with lots of content (like ours!). Still others find themselves putting off tasks because they view them as boring or unpleasant.
Once you've figured out what causes your procrastination, it's time to set up systems that will help keep those behaviors at bay and enable you to get things done! Try setting up an alarm on your phone that goes off every hour while working on a project—that way, if you get distracted by something else (like social media), the alarm will remind you that there are still things waiting for your attention!
The best way to avoid procrastination is by focusing on your work before the deadline arrives. Start early so that there's no pressure when the time comes for you to finish up—you'll be able to enjoy yourself without worrying about finishing on time!
