The Students’ Union has moved to address a series of technical complications affecting beneficiaries of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) who are attempting to finalize their school fee payments.

This intervention follows a surge in reports from students experiencing significant discrepancies while utilizing their funded school wallets for registration. The primary grievances brought before the Union include the double deduction of Technology and Utility fees, which has resulted in many students having insufficient wallet balances to cover their final Bundle Fee payments.

These inconsistencies have left several beneficiaries in a state of administrative limbo, unable to complete their semester registration despite being funded by the federal loan scheme.

In response to these challenges, the Union leadership has consulted with relevant University authorities to seek an immediate resolution.

However, to facilitate a swift correction of these errors, the Union has directed all affected students to submit their details through a Google form link, to compile a comprehensive record of the financial hitches.

As this documentation is critical for the University to conduct a prompt review and ensure that all overcharges are reversed and wallet balances are properly adjusted to reflect the correct figures.
